On April 13th, the Argentine Embassy in Athens, in collaboration with Greek importers and distributors AB Vasilopoulos, Bodegas Krontiras, Cava Kylix, Cava Cellier, Hebe Wines, Wine Box and Winegarage.gr, celebrated a new edition of the Malbec World Day. Under the motto ‘Celebrating a classic’ the Embassy gathered 250 people at a wine tasting at the Aigli Zappiou.
The Ambassador of the Argentine Republic, Carolina Pérez Colman, welcomed guests from specialised wine and diplomatic circles in Greece to celebrate the flagship strain of Argentina. A number of events were also held in parallel, with Athenian and Thessaloniki restaurants and wine bars offering special menus, wine tastings and promotions as they join in festivities surround the Malbec World Day.
